Stock splits are a relatively common action companies take where the trading price of the stock is divided and shareholders receive additional shares. The total value of the shares remains the same, but the price and number of shares outstanding change.

At the time of this recording in August 2020, some big-name companies such as Apple and Tesla are less than two weeks away from executing stock splits. In this episode, we explain how it works and what you need to consider in deciding whether to make a move before or after the split.
